According to an article in the New York Post, the Disney corporation is looking for actresses without breast implants for their new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. They have specific height and body type specifications in their recent casting call.
“Beautiful female fit models. Must be 5ft7in-5ft8in, size 4 or 6, no bigger or smaller. Age 18-25. Must have a lean dancer body. Must have real breasts. Do not submit if you have implants.”
This announcement has come under criticism from both sides. Some think that this is unfair because many actresses have had implants done because that is what an acting careers require of them. Others are crying foul because this leaves out young women who, for health reasons, may have had to have implants for reconstructive breast surgery.
Let’s hear what you think!
